Known as the Mother Tongue Method, the Suzuki Method aims to create an immersion program to help young children learn music.
Emphasis is on learning by ear (including listening to music at home), working incrementally to develop physical control, and producing a beautiful tone.
Ultimately, my goal as a teacher is to encourage joyful musicians who develop into wonderful people.
Parental involvement is an essential part of lesson and home practicing success. Parents are encouraged to study along with the child.
The Suzuki program includes weekly private lessons, bi-weekly group classes, and many opportunities for performance.
