Hello friends -
Summer is in full swing here in Oona-land. With each day and week's schedule being full of new music projects and work, I find myself mulling over how to find the balance between the excitement of summer music adventures and some more mundane pleasures like tending my garden and cold lake dips. Certainly a work in progress. Perhaps you can relate to this push and pull of speeding up and slowing down, racing around to stop and smell the flowers? What joy when I can lake dip on a music adventure, and then roll on home to feast on these beauties!

June didn't disappoint - I made it to two cold lake dipping music camps (shoutout to everyone who joined the first annual Adirondack Music Getaway!!!), and my garden is happily thriving despite my resident bunny's best efforts. I'll make more time to reflect on all of this and more in a future message, but today I'm looking ahead:
July brings me a fresh batch of adventures, and I'll be bopping around New York State between Saratoga Springs, Trumansburg, Oxford, and Raquette Lake in the Adirondacks. I've got all the details listed on oonagrady.com.
One note I'll mention, since I wrote about it last time, is that due to space and logistics concerns we've decided to revert our 1st Tuesdays Irish session back to Invitation Only. Some of the finest Irish musicians in the region join us each month and it's a truly special sharing of tunes and songs. I hope you'll come check it out sometime (tonight, even!).
Last - I am opening up some spots in later July and the month of August for anyone interested in a one-off or small pack of summer lessons. This is a great time to schedule a trial lesson to see if you'd like to get in my studio for the school year, or just grab some tips or inspiration to keep you going in your musical journey. Please fill out this quick form and we'll get a meeting on the books!
Stay cool out there,
xo Oona
