And with that, it's September! I'm sure you're all feeling it - the cool evenings, the earlier sunset, a shift in daily activities. You might be thinking that summer is over, BUT! the equinox isn't until the 22nd, so we've got three more weeks. Let's savor it!

There is a shift happening, though, I will admit. And with it some very strong back-to-school vibes. I find myself looking forward to some of the structure this will bring after a very fun and full summer that had a different type of “structure” (or lack thereof) all its own.
Next week I begin weekly lessons with my PRIVATE LESSON STUDIO [almost scheduled! maybe one more slot?!] and also YOUTH FOLK ENSEMBLE classes through Caffe Lena [three time slots on Wednesday afternoons; filling up fast!]. This summer's POP UP LESSONS were a big hit, so I am considering offering more periodically throughout the fall - both online, at my home studio in Saratoga Springs… and maybe also in Ithaca? Is that something any of you would be interested in? Please let me know!
Another possibility on the horizon is to offer another IRISH MUSIC ENSEMBLE class at Caffe Lena. Are you interested/available Wednesdays at lunchtime starting around the first week in October? Or - if you are interested but not available at that time, let me know as well.

I love playing music, I love performing music, I love recording music, I love finding ways to get creative around music… I'll tell you some stories about some happenings in that respect next newsletter.
