About the bands:

"Specker, Kornblum & Norman features Lila and Ida Mae Specker on fiddles, Molly Kornblum on bass and Josh Norman on guitar. Carrying on the legacy of their forefathers, the band pays homage to the past while continuously evolving their unique sound. At its core the group is built on a solid commitment to having fun and to family."

"Toe tapping, heart lifting, subtle and smiling, The Grady Girls breathe new life into timeless Irish dance tunes. Family ties are important to these women who have traveled far and wide (Cork, Limerick, Spain and beyond) to study and perform the traditional music of Ireland, music that has been an integral part of their lives since day one. Nora (fiddle), Marie (flute), Leah (bodhrán), and Saoirse (fiddle) are based in Ithaca, NY, their hometown, and currently draw musical inspiration from the continuous stream of Irish musicians passing through town, and their old time neighbors, exploring the links between different genres of traditional music. Oona (fiddle) and newest band member James (guitar), both reside in Saratoga Springs, where they enjoy playing music of many styles with some of the many talented musicians based in the capital region. They can't help but make frequent trips back to Ithaca, though, to join the rest of the Grady Girls and their irresistible, powerful sound."
